Frequently asked questions

Where do you ship from?

All orders are printed and shipped from our certified production hubs in the EU and the UK, depending on where you live. EU customers get their orders from within the EU (no customs surprises), and UK orders are fulfilled locally in the UK.

How long does shipping take?

Each item is made on demand just for you.
Production usually takes 1–3 business days, followed by 5–10 business days for delivery, depending on destination and carrier performance. In short, most people receive their order in 7–14 business days total.

During high season (holidays, product drops, powder days), it can take a little longer; we’ll let you know if that happens.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now, we ship to all EU countries and the UK.
We’re working on expanding shipping beyond Europe, but customs and duties can make things messy. Stay tuned.

Do I pay customs or import fees?

If you’re in the EU, your order ships from within the EU; no import fees.
If you’re in the UK, import duties or taxes may apply and are handled by the customer at delivery.

Can I return or exchange my item?

Yes, you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
Customers cover return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect, in which case we’ll take care of it.

If you need a different size or style, email support@vonalpen.com before returning. We’ll help sort an exchange or guide you through placing a new order once the return’s processed.

What are your products made of?

All garments are made using organic and recycled materials in audited factories.

  • Hoodies & Sweatshirts: 80–83% organic cotton, 17–20% recycled polyester, brushed fleece.
  • T-shirts: 100% organic cotton, in different weights (150–240 GSM) for that perfect drape.
    Everything is OCS 100 or OCS Blended certified, meaning the cotton content is verified organic.
Where are your clothes made?

Our apparel is produced in Bangladesh and Türkiye, through a world-class supply chain vetted for environmental and labor standards by experienced industry partners.
Factories are powered by renewable energy, minimize water waste, and maintain safe working conditions under strict ethical oversight.

How do I wash and care for my Von Alpen gear?

Keep your gear looking fresh:

  • Machine wash at 30–40°C
  • Turn inside out and wash with similar colors
  • Hang dry, avoid tumble dryers
  • Iron on medium heat, but never directly on the print
  • Avoid chlorine bleach and dry cleaning

Take care of it, and it’ll age like a good après story.

How do your sizes fit?

We keep sizing consistent and true to size across all products.

  • Regular fits → Classic, straight silhouette
  • Boxy fits → Oversized, relaxed with dropped shoulders

What kind of printing do you use?

We use advanced Direct-to-Garment (DTG) technology with Kornit printers— the gold standard in sustainable on-demand printing.
This process uses water-based inks, zero water waste, and delivers long-lasting prints with a soft hand feel.

Are your materials sustainable?

Yes. All cotton used is organic, and all polyester is recycled.
Our supply chain partners are chosen for their commitment to renewable energy, ethical labor, and traceable sourcing.
We also minimize waste by producing everything on demand, no overproduction, no landfill.

Do you offer gift cards or discounts?

Occasionally, we’re not fast-fashion, so discounts are rare.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We start production almost immediately, so cancellations are not guaranteed once printing begins.
If you need to change the size, color, or address, contact support@vonalpen.com ASAP. If it hasn’t gone into production yet, we’ll fix it.

My order arrived damaged or incorrect — what now?

Email support@vonalpen.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.
We’ll review the issue, replace the item, or issue a refund. You won’t need to pay return shipping in that case.

Why do you print on demand?

Because waste sucks.
Every item is made when you order it, no deadstock, no overproduction, no unnecessary shipping.
It’s better for the planet and keeps Von Alpen’s drops exclusive and intentional.
